With Heaviness

Yesterday (Thursday) around 1 o'clock, a dearly loved teacher at our school lost her battle with cancer. As a kindergarten teacher she touched with deft, gentle fingers the lives of so many little ones. I knew her only a short time, but the interactions I had with her quiet, sweet ways always left me smiling.

So today classrooms full of elementary students will hear that one of their teachers will not be returning; she is instead singing and dancing--free of cancer and pain--in Heaven's throne room. Yet, how to explain that to hearts so young and tender is oh so difficult.

We would be thankful for prayers, thoughts, wishes, hugs, and whatever else you can send toward those feeling the weight of this loss.

Thank you, dear friends.

Anna
