Sea World has placed 3 cameras in their penguin enclosure, and you can go on any time during the day (8 AM to 5 PM, I think) and watch the penguins.
I LOVE penguins.
They make me chuckle, sometimes even chortle. There is a constant display of both innocence and arrogance, playfulness and earnestness about them. Merely the way they waddle with their little wings uplifted brings a smile, and as I watch I feel the anxiety and stress of my day instantly begin to drain away.
If you don't believe me, ask my friend Karen Chronister. We went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ, last Spring, and guess where we spent the largest chunk of time? Yup.
So click on the green link above (or click here) and watch these funny little aqueous birds. You can view them aboveground, in shallow water, or in deep water. Just go to "Cam Tools" and click on the picture of the eye to choose your vantage point. Then expand to "full screen." And feel your stress evaporate in the child-like enjoyment of the show you're bound to see.
And if that doesn't work, just take a gander at my most recent artistic endeavor (inspired by my waddling friends) and laughter is sure to follow.
As always, you're welcome. Happy Wednesday, everyone!
